I have 2 Android devices, a Nexus S 4g and Motorola Xoom.
Both of these devices were accessing two Office 365 mailboxes under the same account using Android's built-in ActiveSync (Exchange) setup.
One of these mailboxes stopped sending and receiving emails the other still works fine.
After two days of researching and testing, I'm still unable to access the one Office 365 account on either of the Android devices.
Here's what I've tried.
- Followed directions on how to set up the account on Android - remember, I have another Office 365 Mailbox that works fine on both the Android devices
- Delete and re-setup the account - result is "Couldn't open connection to server" - the strange part is that if I enter an incorrect password, it's real quick to tell me so.
- Cleared cache on both Android devices, for the mail application as well as the browser.
- Cleared auto-complete on Outlook 2010 Clients (I have at least 3 different computers I access the account with)
- Cleared auto-complete by accessing OWA Lite with Safari
- Tried m.outlook.com, outlook.com and all the other possible domains listed in OWA - About (host address, with and without /owa, sn2prdxxxx, pod, etc.)
I'm sure there were other things I've tried in my time spent trying to resolve this issue, but I'm willing to attempt anything short of wiping the Android devices at this time.
Please keep in mind that it's only one of two Office 365 mailboxes that is having this issue.
Cheers!
