We received a service allert for Outlook 2007 which says:
Image may be NSFW. | Install updates to Outlook 2007 by 1 July 2013 |
Our system reports indicate that your Outlook 2007 users do not have the Outlook 2007 (KB2583910) update installed. This update contains stability and performance improvements required for connection to Exchange Online after the Office 365 major service update planned for 2013. For more information about this Outlook 2007 update, see the Admin Task Wiki. |
However this update failed to install. Researching the failure leads us to believe that KB2583910 is not installable on Office 2007 where Service Pack 3 has been installed.
All of our installations are fully patched including SP3. My question is, should we ignore this Service Alert?
