I have one user having issues with Outlook. The long and short of it, when using Outlook to setup a new profile. It doesn't work. After entering in credentials, the new profile wizard fails out anc can't connect to Exchange.
I can run the Exchange connectivity tester with his credentials and get this:
Attempting to ping RPC endpoint 6001 (Exchange Information Store) on server BL2PRD0810.mailbox.outlook.com.
The attempt to ping the endpoint failed.
Tell me more about this issue and how to resolve it
Additional Details
The RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE error (0x6ba) was thrown by the RPC Runtime process.
I can test with another user from the same organization and both Outlook as well as the Exchange connectivity tester passes and the above error doesn't occur. (although the RPC Server is different from this other user)
I've tried from several PC's and no luck. The DNS test passes form the admin control panel.
So it's not...
1. PC issue.
2. DNS issue.
3. credential issue (tested in OWA and works. Also his iphone still works.)
That leaves server issue as the only other possibility?
I've spent a lot of time with support and am getting nowhere. Can anyone help with escalating this issue??
