Unable to view another mailbox

Having just updated from a free trial to a purchased version of the P1 plan I am now having a number of issues.

 

There are only 2 of us using Office 365 and I was previously able to see my partners emails. Now when I add the account in Outlook, it tells me its successful and to restart Outlook for the changes to take affect. However, when I close Outlook and open it again it tells me the the Exchange is unavailable and then I get the error below.

The name cannot be resolved.  The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.

Just about to start pulling my hair out, so any help would be appreciated!
