It was suggested over on the Cannot access email on two different Android devices forum that I start my own thread about my issue:
I have a Sprint Nexus S running Jelly Bean 4.1.1, never been rooted. On Sunday (11/25), my phone stopped sync'ing with Office365 server. I decided to remove the account from my phone and re-add it. After removing the account, I was unable to add the account again. Each attempt to add the account, I get stuck on the server settings page with this message, "Cannot connect to server."
I am able to log in to the owa, and in the phone tab, I get this strange error message: "The binary data must result in a DateTime with ticks between DateTime.MinValue.Ticks and DateTime.MaxValue.Ticks. Parameter name: dateData"
I've tried every possible server combination suggested in the forums: m.outlook.com, podXXXXXX.outlook.com, and the OWA host server. None of these work. Curiously, with each attempt, I've also tried deleting one letter from my username as a troubleshooting tactic. And each time, I immediately get a message saying incorrect username/password. Apparent, the servers know that I have the correct credentials, but for some reason, my phone still won't connect to the server when using the correct username/password combo.
On 11/28, I did a factor-reset of the phone. No luck. I get the same "Cannot connect to server" message when attempting to set up the Exchange account again.
Someone suggested I use the Remote Connectivity Analyzer which I did today using my phone. All test results came back good.
This is getting very frustrating. It is next to impossible for me to work, when I can't sync my contacts or calendar. I have no idea who is calling or sending texts, and I cannot look up any contacts on my phone to make calls. Please address this issue immediately.
Thanks,
Matt
