Hi,
A couple of times I have had problems with e-mails bouncing from my Exchange Online mailbox. A friend had the issue a couple of times which then went away after an hour or so (he was sending from an address book entry on his phone so no spelling issues). Today I had the same problem trying to e-mail my Exchange Online mailbox from my work address (an Exchange 2007 based organisation). Again the address was auto-saved in my Outlook so definitely no spelling issues.
The error message received is as follows:
The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:
me@mydomain.co.uk on 07/08/2012 08:42
The e-mail address could not be found. Perhaps the recipient moved to a different e-mail organization, or there was a mistake in the address. Check the address and try again.
< mailhost.workorganisation.co.uk #5.1.0 smtp; 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550-'Please turn on SMTP Authentication in your mail client, or login to the\nIMAP/POP3 server before sending your message. mailhost.workorganisation.co.uk\n[xx.xx.xx.xx]:21775 is not permitted to relay through this server without\nauthentication.' (delivery attempts: 0)>
Can anybody offer any advice on this please?
Many thanks,
Mark.
