Hello, I have an issue with undeliverable email to a proxy address only when it is sent from Outlook desktop. The email is delivered from Outlook webapp and from external email accounts just fine. This only seems to occur from Outlook desktop (2010), and multiple users have experienced this. Below is a summary of the steps I took when adding this particular proxy address.
- Employee terminated
- I deleted his account
- I added his email address as a proxy for another user so that user could receive future emails sent to the terminated employee's account. I have added a proxy before and it has worked so I know how to do this.
- Emails to the proxy address are bouncing back as undeliverable only when sent from Outlook desktop
Any suggestions?
