We have 2 domains on O365. Ideally we'd like outlook to behave as follows:
1) User can choose to send manually from user@domain1.com or user@domain2.com.
2) If replying to a message addressed to say domain2.com outlook should automatically set the from as user@domain2.com
We're aware of the method of setting up distribution groups to handle a second domain email address and setting send as permissions but this does not meet requirement 2. Also it doesn't let you just type in the address in the from box. You seem to have to chose it from the global address list. Even when you have done this once you still can't chose the name from recently used addresses.
Any solution to this?
