I've got an account that is checked by a few different users. This account is also used to send mail (usually just forwarded).
The account being shared is really just an external contact (it's used by us for receiving external faxes) and therefore is to be excluded from the Global Address Book.
I've found since I've hidden it from the address book that users with share permissions to the account can no longer open it via OWA. The "Open Other Mailbox" dialogue box simply reports that the account doesn't exist. In other words, it appears that OWA won't let you open a mailbox that doesn't show in the GAL.
This is unacceptable. Is there a fix to this? How do I get those users access to this mailbox without putting the address in the GAL?
