Unable to receive email sent to verified domain

We transitioned from OLSB to Office 365.  We can receive email sent to the onmicrosoft.com email address but not to our regular domain email address.  The DNS records look fine.  The messages are returned with the following (edited) message:

The e-mail address you entered couldn't be found. Please check the recipient's e-mail address and try to resend the message. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk.
