I just today signed up for Office 365. Have done all of the necessary configurations with my DNS registrar/provider (Yahoo Small Business) so that I can use my existing domain in Exchange/Outlook online for my business email. I'm not getting any consistency with sending or receiving email.
After succesfully configuring my Office365 DNS settings and the settings at Yahoo, the first message that I sent from a personal email account to my business email account bounced and was undeliverable. I verified settings at my DNS provider site, and realized that I didn't have the TXT entry created. So I called Yahoo and had that entered.
I followed instructions on the MSOnline site that said I should not change the name servers at Yahoo (http://onlinehelp.microsoft.com/en-us/office365-smallbusinesses/jj655375.aspx), so I changed them back to Yahoo's name servers. I then sent another message - it did not go my Office365 account, but was delivered to my Yahoo email account instead.
I tried sending a third message from my personal email account to my business account (Office365), and it was delivered again to my Yahoo business account, not the Office 365 account.
I changed the name servers in Yahoo back to the Microsoft recommended entries and saved it. I then tried sending a message from the Office 365 Outlook client to my personal email account, and it went through, so sending from the account seemed to work. I immediately replied to that message, and it successfully went back to the Outlook business account. I thought the problem was resolved.
I created a fresh email in my personal account and sent it to my business account. It was bounced by Microsoft. So I tried sending another email from Outlook to my personal account, and it was successful. But when I tried to reply to it (like I did before when it worked), the message was returned undeliverable.
Here is what my bounced messages say:

When I created my MS forum/community account to post this question, I received an email confirmation immediately in my Outlook business account. So it is working some of the time, but not always. I'm sure that it has to do with my Yahoo settings, as those are the only things that I changed while this was all going on.
I'm looking for answers as to why this is happening... any advise or direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
