Bounced Message from 12/07/2012

Reposting as new thread per reply below.

 

We have an isolated case of the error status 4.4.7.  The sender was able to resend the message and it went through.  The sender has their domain hosted through google.com.  The message was sent to us on 12/07/2012 and returned a permanent failure to the sender on 12/09/2012 12:41pm.

Was there a problem receiving messages from google.com/gmail.com on Friday?

Hi LBI,

I don't receive any messages about the issue of receiving Emails from Gmail on last Friday, but you can check whether there is maintenance in Service Health on last Friday.
To check the status of Service Health, please refer to the following steps:
1. Login to Office 365 Portal.
2. Click 'Service Health' under 'Support' on the 'Admin' page.

For getting a better support, please post a new thread, including the detailed information about your issue in this forum, we are happy to assist you.

Additional information per Edward's post:

-I checked the service health prior to searching the forums.  There is no reference to gmail/google receiving errors.  I commented on the post I did because it was from the same date as our failure.  And also referenced Google.com status 4.4.7.

 

In our month since switching to Office365, we have had outages and now a bounced message.  I don't know how many other bounced messages are out there so I need to understand what is happening.
